Di Maria Joins Peppercom as Client Strategy and Growth Director

Valerie Di Maria, a corporate and agency professional, and recent winner of the prestigious John W. Hill Award for leadership in the practice of public relations, has joined Peppercom (www.peppercom.com) in the newly-created position of Director, Client Strategy & Growth.

Ms. Di Maria will report to agency Co-founders Steve Cody and Ed Moed, and be responsible for working with an array of clients to develop and execute communications programs. She will also assist in new business development and spearhead Peppercom's efforts to target and counsel C-suite executives.

"Valerie's corporate experience counseling chief executive officers of some of the world's best-known organizations is virtually unparalleled. And, when you factor in her senior leadership credentials with top public relations firms, you have someone who has literally been there and done that from both sides of the equation," said Mr. Cody. "We expect her immediate impact to be significant."

Mr. Moed added: "Valerie is uniquely qualified having held the chief communications officer/chief marketing officer roles at three major global companies. Over the years, she has worked with leading CEOs on a spectrum of activities including executive outreach, employee communications, crisis management, and mergers and acquisitions."

"I couldn't be happier about re-joining the agency world, especially at Peppercom, which I think is one of the most strategic and creative firms in the business," said Ms. Di Maria. "I know Steve and Ed well and had the pleasure of introducing them and then working together on the GE Capital insurance business when they were in the early years of first launching the firm. And, I might add that they still have that account some 10 years later."
