Maize Marketing Launches Strategic Communications Division for Legal & Other Professional Services Firms, Taps Geisman To Lead

Maize Marketing (www.maizemarketing.com) has added a specialty area in response to the needs of its clients. The boutique marketing and communications agency has launched a new division dedicated to providing strategic communications services and implementing business development and marketing strategies for professional services firms such as law firms, consulting firms, and other providers of professional services.

The solutions offered by the division include writing content for websites, newsletters, blogs and other media, developing and managing new media initiatives, and other services designed to support a firm's business development efforts, improve its positioning and visibility in the relevant marketplace, and expand its engagement in social media.

Leading the team for the new division will be Joseph Geisman, a legal services professional with more than 12 years of experience as a member of sophisticated client advisories and executive management teams. Geisman has spent most of his career representing and counseling clients in connection with a broad range of business matters. Prior to joining Maize Marketing, Geisman served as Of Counsel to the law firm of Greenburg Traurig LLP, Intellectual Property Counsel for the Motion Picture Association of America, Inc., and an associate with the law firm of Loeb & Loeb LLP.

"Joe's extensive experience as a legal professional in both law firm and in-house settings has given him an in depth understanding of the business development challenges faced by professionals," said Kevin Friedman, president and creative director of Maize Marketing. "His background uniquely positions our agency to provide a broad range of strategic communications, marketing and business development services to our clients."
