MMI PR's Briguglio Speaks at Virginia Society of Association Executives Event

MMI Public Relations (www.mmipublicrelations.com), a Raleigh-based, full-service public relations firm, has announced that Patty Briguglio, president of the firm, presented a review of crisis public relations for associations at the Virginia Society Of Association Executives' Feb. 3 meeting in downtown Richmond, Va. in a seminar titled "Getting Your Name Into The News and Out Of The News." Speaking to more than 50 association members, Briguglio discussed the key components of crisis public relations and how associations can employ them for effective communications with the media during business-related calamities.

"I was honored to join VSAE for its seminar to discuss the need for effective planning in crisis communications among its members," said Briguglio. "Crisis communications can easily be pushed to the back burner until an actual crisis happen, and I am proud to be able to help organizations and executives across the country effectively prepare and plan for events, and to understand the need for planning to handle such events."
