Robinson Packer Company Begins New Decade as Root Strategies

Marking 10 years as a successful communications agency, Robinson Packer Company has announced it has rebranded with new offerings and will operate under the new name Root Strategies (www.rootstrat.com).

Lisa Packer, founding principal, said that the name Root Strategies more accurately reflects the company's experience, mission and philosophy.

"We have always operated under the basic tenet that effective communications must be rooted to sound business goals," Packer said. "We are extremely proud about our decade of successes and growth, and are continuing to offer the same top quality capabilities to new and existing clients under our new name."

Root Strategies also has expanded its offerings to clients to include event management services. The company has acquired Patrone Events, a full-service event management company founded by Renee Patrone, one of the area's top event planners. Patrone is now Root Strategies' event manager.

"Over the last few years, we have seen many more of our clients showcasing their businesses and industries through corporate events for their clients and customers," Packer says. "For the right reasons, the event component has become an effective, key piece of successful communications plans and can make good business sense."

During the last decade, the company established a niche in the Philadelphia market by serving mid-sized businesses in a wide variety of industries regionally, nationally and internationally. Despite the recent economic downturn that has affected many smaller agencies, Root Strategies has continued to grow and remain competitive with larger agencies in the Philadelphia area.

Most notably, the company specializes in crisis management and is the agency of choice among many area companies when faced with crisis situations. Although well known for this capability, Root Strategies continues to also provide a full range of communications, public relations and marketing services to clients.

Root Strategies recently has moved to a new location at 120 Bloomingdale Ave, Wayne, Pa.
